Annie, rest easy sweet girl. You’re in Heaven now—running free and reunited once again with your mama, Diva. We said goodbye to our best girl this week, and her absence is deeply felt this morning.
Annie was my faithful sidekick, and together we accomplished so much in her younger years. She loved lure coursing, rally, barn hunt, herding, and nose work. That girl lived for the word “RAT”—even in her senior years, she’d light up and race outside, just in case one might be lurking nearby. She truly had an incredible nose.
She also loved swimming in the pool and curling up on the couch with her Daddy—he was her person, without question. Like her namesake, Amethyst Annie shone with rare beauty: deep-souled, radiant, and unforgettable.
Run free, sweet girl. You are so deeply loved.
